From John Deere Green to Camfil: A Commitment to Quality Comes Full Circle

A commitment to quality has brought me to Camfil!

In 1979, as a bright-eyed co-op student, I stepped into the world of John Deere. Little did I know that this experience would not only shape my career but also infuse my blood with a vibrant shade of green. Fast forward to 2024, and I find myself tickled green once again - albeit in a slightly different hue.


I'm thrilled to announce that I've committed to serving as the Interim Quality Manager for Camfil's facility in Riverdale, NJ. While the shade of green may have changed, my excitement for quality management and continuous improvement remains as strong as ever.


This new role allows me to apply my years of experience in a way that truly excites me. I'll be guiding Camfil through their "RCA" process:

  1. Roles and Responsibilities: Helping define clear expectations for every team member.

  2. Cadence of Communication: Establishing regular touchpoints to monitor and measure progress.

  3. Accountability: Implementing systems to drive continuous improvement.


For those unfamiliar with Camfil, I encourage you to look them up. They're a global leader in air filtration systems and clean air solutions, committed to sustainability and improving indoor air quality worldwide. Their mission aligns perfectly with my passion for quality and environmental stewardship.


As I prepare to embark on this new chapter, I can't help but reflect on how my journey has come full circle. From learning the ropes at John Deere to now sharing my expertise with Camfil, I've seen firsthand how a commitment to quality can transform organizations and industries.

This opportunity with Camfil allows me to put these principles into practice once again, helping another organization achieve excellence through the implementation of ISO standards and best practices.
